40 Government schools and more than 15000 girl student
Impact: Distribution of reusable sanitary pads has enabled girls to manage their menstrual hygiene effectively, reducing absenteeism in schools.
Sustainability: The initiative promotes environmentally friendly practices by providing reusable options, reducing waste associated with disposable pads.
Distribution:
Conducted awareness campaigns and workshops to educate girls about menstrual hygiene management.
Distributed reusable sanitary pads to ensure accessibility and affordability.
Community Engagement:
Involved local women and health workers in the distribution process to foster community support and understanding.
Encouraged discussions around menstrual health to break the stigma associated with menstruation.
Impact:
Improved health outcomes and educational attendance for girls, empowering them to participate fully in their communities.
