Rural Artisans & Women from economically backward communities.
Objective: To enhance employability and entrepreneurship among beneficiaries through vocational training and skill development programs.
Beneficiaries: Approximately 60 rural women artisans have been directly trained, with indirect benefits reaching over 100 individuals.
Vocational Training:
Provided training in various skills, including garment making and jute-based product manufacturing, to improve craftsmanship.
Established Common Facilities Centres (CFC) equipped with sewing machines to facilitate hands-on training.
Entrepreneurship Support:
Offered guidance and resources for starting small businesses, promoting self-employment among trained individuals.
Facilitated access to financial services to support entrepreneurial ventures.
Impact:
Increased income levels and economic independence for participants, contributing to community development and empowerment.
