Binod Ashish, a distinguished journalist, and passionate consumer activist, founded the NGO SAVERA in 2000. Under his leadership, SAVERA has made significant strides in advancing women’s empowerment, education, and the empowerment of adolescent girls. The organization also champions consumer awareness and livelihood development, addressing key social issues with a comprehensive approach.

In addition to his work with SAVERA, Binod Ashish holds several prominent positions in the corporate sector. He serves as Director, Individual Promoter, and Additional Director at various companies, leveraging his expertise to drive strategic growth and development. His leadership extends to his roles as Chairman of Pratidhwani Media Initiative Pvt. Ltd. and Atulyam Multi State Co-operative Society Limited, where he influences media initiatives and cooperative development, respectively.
Binod’s multifaceted career reflects his deep commitment to social change, advocacy, and community development, making him a respected figure in both the non-profit and corporate worlds.

Anil Bharti holds the position of Secretary at SAVERA, where he plays a pivotal role in managing the organization’s administrative functions. He ensures that communication flows smoothly among governing body members and staff. Anil is responsible for maintaining records and documentation, which is crucial for organizational transparency. He coordinates meetings and prepares agendas to facilitate effective discussions. His organizational skills help streamline operations and enhance productivity. Anil also oversees compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. He is dedicated to fostering a positive organizational culture that values teamwork and collaboration. Anil actively participates in strategic planning sessions to align administrative processes with organizational goals. His commitment to efficiency and effectiveness supports SAVERA’s mission. Manoj Kumar Jha is a social worker and a consumer activist having experience of more than 2 decades. As the Treasurer of SAVERA, combining a wealth of experience in finance with a strong passion for community service, he plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of our organization.

In his role at SAVERA, Manoj oversees related aspects of financial administration, including budget formulation, financial forecasting, and adherence to regulatory standards along with Director (Finance). He collaborates with our leadership team to ensure that our financial resources are utilized effectively and aligned with our mission.

Pankaj Kumar Singh is a highly accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the social development and research sectors. He holds an impressive academic background, including a Graduate and Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), a Certificate Course in Research Methodology (CRM) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), and an MBA from ICFAI, Hyderabad. His career spans various domains such as education, health, sustainable agriculture, environmental issues, and consumer affairs, where he has contributed significantly to planning, program design, management, evaluation, and impact assessment.
Pankaj has collaborated with esteemed institutions like NIEPA and IIPA, and has provided consulting services to numerous organizations as an implementing agency on diverse action-based projects. His expertise has been instrumental in over two dozen research studies for various government departments and ministries, influencing national policies and programs. A recognized figure in his field, he has presented and published several papers at national seminars and conferences, showcasing his deep commitment to advancing social development.

G.N. Sreekumaran serves as an Advisor to SAVERA, leveraging his extensive background in government and policy-making. He has served as a former Joint Secretary to the Government of India. He provides strategic insights that help shape the organization’s advocacy efforts and policy engagement. G.N. collaborates with the governing body to identify opportunities for influencing policy at local and national levels. His expertise in public administration enhances SAVERA’s understanding of regulatory frameworks. G.N. is dedicated to promoting social equity and justice through effective policy interventions. He engages with government officials and stakeholders to advocate for marginalized communities. G.N. also contributes to capacity-building initiatives, empowering staff to navigate policy landscapes. His commitment to collaboration fosters partnerships that enhance program effectiveness. G.N. believes that informed advocacy is crucial for driving systemic change. His work with SAVERA aims to create a more inclusive society.

CS D.K. Dubey, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, brings nearly 20 years of extensive experience in managerial and legal consultancy, as well as advisory roles in corporate matters and non-governmental organizations. His expertise extends to social work, where he actively contributes to the implementation of various government and non-government projects in both rural and urban areas.

Dubey is deeply involved in the cooperative movement, particularly in rural regions, where he supports the effective rollout of government schemes and the organization of farmers into structured sectors. His notable directorships include serving on the boards of distinguished companies such as Sabsang Finance Limited, Rathi Steel Limited, and Shri Rathi Steel (Dakshin) Limited, among others.

Currently, Dubey is also the Managing Partner at D.K. Dubey and Associates LLP and serves as the Secretary of Atulyam Multistate Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited. Additionally, he holds several independent directorships, continuing to leverage his extensive expertise in corporate governance and social impact.

D.K. Dubey serves as the Director of Finance at SAVERA, overseeing all financial operations and ensuring fiscal responsibility. He is responsible for developing and managing the organization’s budget, aligning financial resources with strategic goals. D.K. ensures compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, maintaining transparency in all transactions. He collaborates with program directors to assess financial needs and allocate resources effectively. His expertise in financial management helps identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
