  • Direct Beneficiaries: Approximately 1,000 artisans directly engaged in the cluster.

  • Common Facility Centre: Established at Uphrali, Purnea, equipped with:

    • 12 Automatic Sewing Machines

    • 5 Paddle Machines

  • Women Empowerment:

    • 50 women artisans have been directly upskilled, transitioning from semi-skilled to skilled artisans in garment design and sewing.

    • Indirectly benefits around 100 additional artisans involved in craft making, packaging, and marketing.

    • Artisans produce a variety of products, including:

      • Jute bags

      • Greeting cards

      • Business cards made from banana fiber

    • Over 2,000 jute-made Rakhis of 50 varieties created by women artisans.

    • Training programs conducted to enhance skills in design, production, and marketing.

    • Focus on sustainable practices and eco-friendly product development.
